Reuse first

Pallet reuse & recycling enquiries

Keeping a suitable wooden pallet in useful circulation can reduce the need for replacement material. Our first question is whether the pallet can meet another clear requirement—not whether every pallet can be accepted.

01

Reuse depends on condition

A pallet may be considered for reuse when its type, construction and condition match a practical requirement. Damage, contamination, incompatible repairs or an unusual specification can limit options. Photographs, dimensions and accurate condition notes help identify potentially reusable pallets.

Where reuse is not suitable, businesses should choose an appropriate authorised recycling or disposal route. Separating usable pallets from damaged or contaminated material makes the review more efficient.

02

Separate before enquiring

Keep pallet types grouped where practical and remove unrelated packaging or waste. Identify painted, contaminated, heavily damaged or non-wooden items. Premier Pallet handles used wooden pallet enquiries and is not a mixed-waste clearance service.

For regular quantities, explain where the pallets arise, approximate volume, frequency, access and loading. Any ongoing arrangement is conditional on the agreed type and condition continuing to match the reviewed specification.

03

Request a collection review

Have photographs, approximate quantity, postcode, dimensions and loading details ready, then call 023 9239 7737 to discuss the surplus pallets. The more clearly the pallets are grouped and described, the easier it is to assess a practical next step.

Why is reuse considered first?

A pallet that remains suitable for another job can continue in useful circulation before other material routes are considered.

Can mixed warehouse waste be included?

Please keep the enquiry to used wooden pallets and separate other packaging or mixed waste.
